ABOUT ME

In 1999 I set out on the path of a journeyman.  From South Africa to Germany, Portugal and the USA,

for years I moved from one workshop to the next, constantly learning not only the skills but the history,

stories and traditions of a Blacksmith.

 

I value the ability to take discarded or raw materials and coax them into something special. 

If, at the end of every day, I manage to create a piece that catches the eye or feels good in the hand

and does what it's meant to then I'm happy.  I love what I do.  It's as simple as that.
